You can't really expect people to not have a negative opinion about this.

The child is 12 years old. She does not need 'foils' or in fact any kind of hair dye. She's a child!

Not to mention the exposure to chemicals, possible negative self-image, and all the other not very nice things that may - or may not - happen when a parent allows a child to play in grown-up world.

And to then, further, expect a discount at a hairdresser's, for the fact that she is a child? To be honest I thought this was a wind-up when I first saw your post, OP.

 

I asked about a discount because discounts are applied to haircuts. I thought, as some salons have a minimum age of 12, that discounts may apply to colour too.

Does anyone know a hairdresser who specialises in curly hair? My usual hairdresser has disappeared off the face of the earth and the person doing it me know, bless em, doesn't know what to do with my hair in regards to blowdrying and colouring?

Hi Went book an appointment today with my hairdresser Ben at Regis to find out he has left. He previously worked at 284 on Ecclesall Rd. Does anyone know if hes still doing hair?, where he works now or how to get intouch with him?

I would imagine that the mod team have moved your post,

 

a ) presumably, because it belongs in the Hairdressing Megathread, and

b ) strangely enough, that would be where you will find most traffic relating to all-queries-hairdressing, and, logically, the most likely place to obtain an answer to your query.
