Im wanting my colour changing my hair dresser told me to use really cheap shampoo for a few weeks as they pull the colour out and then she would be able to do it, that's capelli s on eccy road. Stripping your hair to colour it again will really damage it. Try that then you should be able to dye over it

also u can use washing up liquad that helps strip aswell

I had bright red hair and decided to go dark brown.

 

I used a medium ash brown (if you want it lighter use light ash brown) the green in the ash dye counteracts your red colour without the need for stripping your hair, which is time consuming (will take more than one go) and very expensive, any questions pm me

When i wanted my colour stripping out, my hairdresser told me to use Vosene as it strips out all your colour, try that first.

Just sprung onto this thread and I am desperate to find a good colourist, recently went to have my hair dip dyed and I am so disappointed with what they did. It's not even dip dyed, just random streaks. So now I need to find someone that will actually do a good job. I live just outside Sheffield centre so anything near by, anyone knows of would be great??

Not too sure where Pride is either?
