The Hairdressers/Barbers megathread - Do not advertise in here

Does anyone know which sort of hair extentions you need to buy when someone is weaving them in? Not clip in ones.

There a salon close to me which charges £45 if you provide your own extentions. Is that a good deal?

Hi everyone.

Im just woundering if anyone knows decent salons in town that do hair extensions? Id prefer the individual bonds. Also if you know the prices that would be helpful. Im in the city center so anywhere around this area would be great but i also drive so travelling wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks

I am looking for a good hairdresser in sheffield, not some trendy salon who try to get you to buy all their products and get a coffee and a massaging chair while watching MTV and charge the earth only to come away with something you didn't want!! I don't want my hair straight and neat but often seems that you get what they decide! I like to look ruffled! But no one seems to understand that... so a good recommendation would be really appreciated. Broomhill would be a good location for me.

Hi

Does anyone know any good reasonable hairdresser for women apart from Tony & Guy or Headlines as these a little on the expensive side

Thanks Vic

I *think* its called Hairlines in Firth Park (near the library) and theyve always been nice and done what I wanted. It doesnt seem the nicest place when you go in, but believe me, they thrive off a young client who doesnt want their perm resetting! They cut off my rather long hair that hadnt been touched in years, to quite short how I wanted it for £15
