Beastieboy   10 #13 Posted October 27, 2004 I think he was always brought in as cover incase we got caught short, but also it may help him to find an English team after languishing in the lower leagues of Italy. From the reserve reports Iv'e read he is a decent player so we may see him yet.
 Share this content via...
Guest   #14 Posted October 27, 2004 considering we play on Friday:  a: we showed a complte lack of ambition to finish it in 90 mins (Forte in injury time? As a striker??)  b: We did not rest players for Friday
 Share this content via...
Robbie Loving   10 #15 Posted October 27, 2004 got an inkling forte may start on friday,  i really cant be doing with montgomery playing again!! how can we play with him in side?  unless a loan signing comes in for friday think it will be gray in centre mid!!  or............... we could play an audatious 4-3-3  have forte thirlwell and liddell in middle  gray cada and shaw up front  or........ keeping 4-4-2  put geary at right back, bromby in centre and push jags in to centre mid!! dont think that would be too bad actually
 Share this content via...
Beastieboy   10 #16 Posted October 27, 2004 I thought that Jags could go in midfield but will Warnock be that adventerous?  Tonges injury is not a break which is good but he will be out for Friday so a reshuffle is required. Beastieboy   10 #19 Posted October 29, 2004 Looks like it's Shaw and Cads up front with Gray in a holding role and Geary possibly starting in midfield.
 Share this content via...
Beastieboy   10 #20 Posted October 29, 2004 3-2 to the Blades! and what a start to the game 3 goals in 7 mins during the first 11 mins of the game. What a free kick by Harley, Gray pops up yet again for a great header and he held up well in midfield and finally, Cadda gets on the mark! I hope that gets him going now as I do think he could make a difference upfront.  The first goal conceded was sloppy defending and a bit unlucky with the own goal. Geary made a decent start although he fell over quite a few times:rolleyes:  So in all a good performance as Crewe didn't cave in despite the score line early on. 7 games without defeat lets keep it up Blades! vidster   10 #21 Posted October 29, 2004 Well impressed with the first 20 mins and quite happy with the rest of the game. The jury is still out on Geary but then again i am a Kozluck fan anyway. We did'nt see much of Forte's pace for the 10 mins he got?. All in all im chuffed, the team look good together and they are starting to gel really well. Keep it up Blades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Robbie Loving   10 #22 Posted October 30, 2004 great start to the game  we let foot off pedal though once 3rd goal went in!!  as for geary, he was playing well out of position, so you can not make a judgement on him at all!! i think he did well to say that was his first time at left back
 Share this content via...

Beastieboy   10 #24 Posted November 2, 2004 Just listened to the first half and I thought we were going to concede 3 goals instead of scoring 3! 2 goals in 2 minutes but thank Bromby as he has scored to bring it back to 2-1.  Come on you Red and White wizards!
