Myself and 3 others were caught running down the stairs at Shiregreen high by Bill Naylor PE teacher and forward for Workshop Town,he said my classroom after dinner.We turned up and he got the biggest slipper i had ever seen out of the cupboard he then set about slippering my 3 mates when he got to me he said your playing this afternoon so see me tomorrow.After winning the football match we were walking back from Concord Park he said to me forget about tomorrow but no more running on stairs OK,I said Yes Sir.lovely man,my mates were gutted.
