I was in the same class as you in the first year at Waltheof.  Mr Mawson. I can recall you and Kenny Stinchcombe sitting at the front, hands waving in frantic competition to answer questions. Such enthusiasm and keenness, but Waltheof soon knocked that out of us!  Steve Damms.
 Share this content via...

Such enthusiasm and keenness, but Waltheof soon knocked that out of us!  Steve Damms.  Faint recollections of Jed ( Kevin) bellowing " BEULLA " across the playground  This may have been in admiration of a perfectly struck " LOGAN " inflicted on some poor unsuspecting victim .............. by another pupil ?  Used in conjunction with a secondary " DEADLEG" the victim's recovery could be quite prolonged , and never forgotten .  Though the expression " PEARLER " may have been the appreciative term for that particular infliction .  The rigours of Waltheof Playground Etiquette, may well have befitted a Roman Gladiator  ---------- Post added 31-01-2018 at 16:40 ----------  Ey up Kevin.
