schizodoor
Staffordshire have got the Staffordshire bull terrier, a lean mean fighting machine. America have got the american pitbull terrier, a taller lean mean fighting machine. The english bull terrier, another lean mean fighting, killing machine, that runs funny. All the above have studded, thick leather collars and harnesses. And what do we get? a rat with ribbons, whats that all about?

Agent Orange
It's not even worthy enough to have 'Yorkshire' as part of it's name. They are next to useless in my opinion. Pfft..!!!
schizodoor
Is it because these dogs are bred for protecting their owners whereas the yorkshire terrier is clearly bred for lick't froff' of a yorkshire's pint of stones?
Smithster
Think yourselves lucky that a dog was named after your county at all! I grew up in Hampshire and I can't think of a single thing that has been named after it!
koenigsinger
nasty little bleeders the yorkie's, good for tackling small vermin.... but its not all bad news, Yorkshire also has the Airedale Terrier, now thats an altogether bigger and harder dog!
