pattricia Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 If you haven't found it, pattricia it's: 08456 889555 (their nearest clinics are in Manchester and Leeds). Thanks very much. Manchester isnt too far away from Sheffield.
swordfish1 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Please do a search, this has been covered countless times before. Thought exactly the same. But anyway... My missus had hers done at Optimax in Manchester about 8 years ago. She says it's the best money she's ever spent.
monty789 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 hiya i had it done about 7 years ago at optimax in manchester. One of the best things I have ever done!
Bago Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 I don't want to scaremonger people, but do consider all options. I remember looking at the option of this before, but decided against it. My bro did have his eyes done too, but later found out that he had diabetes. So, I don't know how it will affect him. Diabetes do affect the eyes as well. He does have the night vision light effect to his sight afterwards too. I think you need to have your eyesight stablised on a set measurement for a couple of years before the surgeons will do it for you. Boots was at one point in time, offering a buy one get one eye free operation. Or so I was told by another friend who had his eyes done. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/medical_notes/4649079.stm http://www.londonvisionclinic.com/
stylecather Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 my uncle did it 3 year ago , seem fine until now
Guest Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 I had mine done last year at Optimax in Leeds, the side effects only lasted a week or so and were just about bearable but still wouldn't put me off having it done and I thought the price was quite reasonable.
