RoyalRegular   10 #1 Posted October 11, 2004 Does anyone remember the "Golden Chair" weighing scales in the old rag & tag market?  I used to love going in there on a Saturday morning and looking at all the animals.....dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, chickens....all sorts.  I wonder what happened to the chair?? hazel   11 #2 Posted October 11, 2004 Yes I remember.  My sister and I were weighed regually on them. one old penny! My aunt used to weigh my cousins too and then would compare weights. I used to hate it. I thought everyone was llooking at me. I Remember the rag and tag maket tho, always a source of entertainment , especially the Edward brothers clashing their crockery and calling out to everyone that passed. hazel
 Share this content via...
