I love that shot in the station.
 Share this content via...
crookes   10 #88 Posted March 4, 2008 I don't live in Sheffield anymore, but if I did I would be taking stacks of photographs of the city and putting them on this website - http://www.geograph.org.uk  In 2 years I've managed to post over 3,300 photographs onto the site and and boosted the photographs of the centre of Lincoln by 211. There are now over 800 photographs of that grid square, by 43 contributors.  The Geograph British Isles project aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of Great Britain and Ireland. Most of the grid squares around Sheffield have been covered, but why not boost them with contributions of your own, it's a great way to get out and about.  My contributions are: - http://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/4330/all
 Share this content via...

ImpInaBox   10 #93 Posted May 29, 2008 Mmm - the Ringinglow sunset pic looks great, tho a bit more differentiation in the layers of ridges in the landscape would make it better. I know how hard that is tho - I spent a week in Italy chasing the same sort of effect. (Didn't go just for that mind - it was just outside where we were staying!) It would be worth going back there. I think mickyhix and Eric_Collins should join Geograph.org.uk and post their photographs on there. Come on you two and show them what Sheffield is all about.  The 192 contributions to grid square SK3587  http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2796266  Not a massive amount is it? Lincoln has
 Share this content via...

Nice one!
 Share this content via...
