chuffinel   10 #337 Posted May 13, 2007 Well I guess it was in the stars. The Blades had destiny in their own hands and blew it. I watched the ManU game and we certainly can't claim that they didn't try their best for the points. They did everything but score. The Tevez goal was a cracker and he deserved it I think. It's bad news about relegation but good news about local derbies and maybe we can do a positive "Sunderland" next year. Hopefully United can finish first and Wednesday second next season and we'll get to see some games season after on TV over here. Fudbeer   12 #338 Posted May 13, 2007 Yep as an owls fan you can put me in the sympathy for the blades camp.  Got to respect the fact that they battled till the end and were VERY unlucky.  Its also not good for the city that we dont have a Premiership team in Sheffield.  Lets hope we have both teams back in the premiership soon. Guest   #340 Posted May 13, 2007 But pulling United down - doesn't make Wednesday play any better ? I'd rather have two good teams  exactly - imagine how great it would be if next season both teams get promoted and we have 2 premiership teams.  I'm a blades fan, but not a religious one. I like to see them do well, and I will have a bit of banter with my mate who's a crazy owls fan.  Honestly though, I think the best thing for sheffield is to have at least one premiership team, if not both.  Good luck to both teams next season, imagine if we both go up and we'd have some fab premiership derbys to look forward to! Totoro   10 #341 Posted May 13, 2007 This referee was a real disgrace. Honestly, I think he cheated us out of at least one or two penalties.
 Share this content via...
