The rest are right, but in US English "sense" is still "sense"

I have seen it spelt as sence, more than sense, I have also noticed that some americans also add the d onto an, when they say something like they had and apple, or they had and afternoon on the beach. Strange but true.

Nope sorry you can't sue .... English/American as it is called, is drawn from their illiteracy of the English language, and of being unable to spell correctly.If you have never noticed, they spell sense as sence, and they don't lose anything, they loose it, as with all the other words that end in ise in the English dictionary, the american words end in ize, as in harmonize, sympathize, exersize etc etc etc. So to sue them for being illiterate would be discriminating against them. But they do have a book of spelling mistakes they call the american dictionary. :hihi: :hihi:
I was having a quiet little joke with a few people on here when you, of course, had to butt in with snide. We do niot spell sense as sence. We are very capable of losing arguments but not this one. Loose is reserved for loose tongues like yours. We do harmonize, but we exercise just to confuse y'all. We pronounce the letter z as zee, not zed which makes our ize more logical than ise. I coulld make many logical reasons for our spelling like jail and not gaol, but why bother. This is in defence of the defense of our language. Figure that one out. GBA

I wouldn't think anyone with a Sheffield/Northern accent would dare to pick on other peoples pronunciations, unless you've all gone "POSH" all of a sudden :hihi:

Now now Queen poppins, don't you go lowering yourself to the same standards as some others on here :huh: And I don't have a Sheffield accent, more a mix of canadian and southern England.

You're not supposed to go crying to anyone not noone. But you either did run to the mods oe threatened to last time. I don't consider myself a big yank, just a grateful one to a country that gave me a new start after I left the RN. That's the Royal Navy, rookie, if you've ever heard of it. As a retired CPO I would have loved having you tween decks and taught you some manners. Get some time in on SF, and learn. I can't be bothered with hating little men like you. Unless, of course, you're a woman. In which case I would apologize for making you cry. At least I got you mad, so I won.

You poor pathetic excuse for a man, I think you mean you would have liked to try and teach me some manners :hihi:

You in the RN, now who is lying? you are too illiterate to have been in any of H.M services. Your mentality on here proves that

At least I got you mad, so I won.
:loopy::hihi:

Yes, I have heard all about you going AWOL (Absent With Out Leave) from the RN, and hiding in the US.

And you think that you would ever be capable of teaching me a lesson :hihi: This is typical of the idle threats that come from behind a computer monitor, come finish your time in the RN, be a real man, instead of hiding behind some womans skirt.:loopy: :loopy:

Where did you hear about me going AWOL? From the same source as your " expertise" on matters American I suppose. You're supposed to be a Sheffielder with a Canadian/ Southern mix of an accent. How does that figue. As long as I've been here I have never lost my Sheffield dialect. You waffle along and when you get mad you make nasty idle threats you're too stupid or incapable of carrying out. You come into a thread spewing venom at people without any cause then go spastic when anyone challenges your view. You are in serious need of help, my friend, and you will hear no more from me. You just aren't worht it.
