Is Breathing Addictive?

I managed to quit smoking and there are numerous accounts of people on here quitting other drugs, so as part of my self improvement programme I decided to quit breathing so that I can no longer breathe in dangerous car exhaust fumes.

 

I tried to quit blinking but that was almost impossible, I managed to keep it up for about 30 seconds before the urge to blink returned.

 

Breathing is even harder.

 

I tried everything! Patches, (Over my gob) hypnotism, aversion therapy (Each time I inhaled the other half hit me with a brick-- oh how she loved that!) and cold turkey.

Nothing has worked so far.

 

So, I put it to you, my dear forumers, that breathing is the hardest habit to break!

 

Unless.... unless you know better...?
