my kids STILL say mazagine instead of magazine

My almost 4 year old daughter says mazagine.:D I think it's quite cute in kids.

If she keeps it up for many more years though I shall have to beat it out of her.:hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

I simply detest the common people who say "bath" with a short "a", when everybody of breeding just knows it's pronounced "barth". :hihi:

Mmmm - I wonder where I got the inspiration for that post, then?

Leeds accents -far-tee wun. (for forty one) I used to catch that bus.

Plarster cast. It's either plaster cast or plarster carst not a mix!!

Words I couldn't say when I was little Pebble - Peggle as in mill.

Florence so she became Peepence.

And thief which I to this day really struggle with to say properly - I still go to say fief. A teacher of mine had me in tears, standing at the front of the class, shouting at me as I couldn't say thief and she made me say it over and over again.

Do you say ga- rahge or gar-age?
