Ugh, there's just no justice sometimes... Channel 4 pay probably a fortune for crap like Big Brother, yet the flipping Beeb tells the makers of Neighbours where to go over £300 Mil?!

 

Channel Four makes a fortune from Big Brother, both from advertising revenue and paid-for extras and televotes. It keeps the rest of the Channel going and subsidises other, less mass market programmes, for which I'm grateful. have an opinion by all means, but please base it on facts.

Does anyone else think that the Ofcom's punishment of Channel 4 over last year's racism incident was ridiculous? I just don't get it. It's a "fly-on-the-wall" reality show. Jade made some pretty horrible racists comments, and Channel 4 broadcast as is. It needed no editting, nor a commentary. Jade was shown to be a racist pig by her actions - she basically hung herself out to dry. I was cringing with shame whilst watching it, willing her to keep her trap shut. It made excellent t.v.

Yeah, a little, but I think maybe they would have wanted BB to step in more and punish Jade for her comments and actions. Personally while I think maybe she was being slightly racist, I actually think it was mostly bullying, Jade, Jo and Danielle ganged up on Shilpa light nasty little schoolgirls.
