purdyamos Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Oh for heaven's sake! I find it rather ironic that former communist countries who suffered and hated the Nazis have been so peachy keen to emulate their attitudes to certain groups in society. What with the recent fracas in Moscow, I'm starting to wish that Ukrainian tranny had won Eurovision, just to spite them! (Actually, he did look a bit Tellytubbyesque. ) Which children's character would you hold responsible for brainwashing you away from The Right Path?
tom3t0 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 i can't fault the polish, let them in on mass to keep the churches open. children's tv characters; those on "boo bah" promote many types of drug use, heroin (they live in spoons), LSD/psilocybin (trippy colours are plentiful), ecstasy (there always up for some crazy dancing).
fox20thc Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Willo the Wisp - with Mavis the too fat to fly fairy always looking for a hot date Evil Edna was always calling the other characters fat and stupid. (hardly PC ) I can't imagine it being as readily accepted by some parents now, though I heard that the americans had done a remake

They have to bastardise everything.. Like the Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds, comes to something when it sucks compared to the original 54 year old 1953 version.
shoeshine Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 10 years ago, during daytime hours my wife and I spent hours watching the Teletubbies in the company of our very, very young grandaughter. This went on for some years, interspersed with the viewing of Tom & Jerry cartoons at every opportunity. I'm pleased to say I was never persuaded to purchase a handbag for personal use. My grandaughter is now of the age when she'll be taking an interest in one or more of these personal accessories. 55 years ago I used to watch Muffin the Mule avidly on black and white TV. I've always had a thing about muffins though!

bladesufc1 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 classic (So kids watching Teletubbies can actaully turns your kids gay) :hihi: A senior Polish official has ordered psychologists to investigate whether the popular BBC TV show Teletubbies promotes a homosexual lifestyle. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6698753.stm

As for the Teletubbies, I was pretty convinced that the green one (Dipsy) was a closet gay, I mean come on, his special item was a pink tutu for chuff sake! Or was that the little red one?
