Beware if sneaking a look at the back page of the current (June) edition of "When Saturday Comes" (with Jose on the cover) in the Newsagents.

You (especially Wednesdayites) may be in for a bit of a shock!

 

It is only after having missed a heart beat and realised that you are not waking up from a rather pleasant dream (no, not one of yours Jazzy!) , and on scrutinising the list of goal scorers, does the page become totally identifiable as to just what it is advertising!

 

(Overseas readers will be enlightened as to the content in due course)

The back page contains scores for all the fixtures on the final day of the season, but something doesn’t look right.

 

Manchester United 3 West Ham 2 ?????

 

Sheffield United 6 Wigan Athletic 1 ????

 

It is only when your eyes focus on name of each goalscorer and realise every one was scored by somebody called Drogba, it becomes fully apparent it is an advertisement for a Fantasy league !!!

 

I felt it appropriate to warn Jazzy in particular, lest he picks a copy up on one of his visits to the Newsagents, loses control and disgraces himself by producing a brown stain, instead of the normal white one.
