I could say a lot to be honest,i was a friend of his and altho he did have a temper i personally never saw it that often.Iwas a regular in his pub and altho he could be a bit intimidating we had good times on fishing trips , nights out ete.He was a mate and i dont really see the point in slagging the lad off when ive know need.Take that how you like pal.

For my twopeneth I did know of Derrick but did not know him. I was in the same year at school as him but our paths never crossed.

 

A few of my mates knew him very well and yes I have heard the stories.

 

The times I did meet him I never had any problems or saw anything untoward.

 

As he only passed away in February and you don't know who could be reading I think seaton's a bit out of order.
