I`m sure you will find that there postal address is Stannington They are on the estate that is (unfortunately) located slightly to the east of Stannington and occupies land off both sides of Stannington Road. Postal addresses can be misleading. For example the postal address for Skegness is Peterborough. The first pub in Stannington is the Sportsman.

I live on Marchwood but in the past have lived on Deerpark my postal address has always been Stannington. (thanks pattricia for the support) it really does annoy me when people try to say I live in lower Stannington.

I also dont like your wording of the estate as "unfortunatley". ( I dont live on this estate by the way) but know people who do, and they are very nice.
