Lord Bute
I need to park a rather large, cumbersome van somewhere near division street tomorrow lunchtime. I'm new to the city so don't really know where would be good. Easy of parking and proximity to Div St are the main factors. Any suggestions? adysheff
Other than catch the train instead? Devonshire Green has large car park at Forum end of the street, but very busy and there is some street parking on and around Wellington Street near the Wellington pub....... Plain Talker
*shakes head sadly* division Street... van... parking... LOL most of the roads round there (Including Wellington ST, adysheff) are blocked because if the heart of the city works, it's a swining NIGHTMARE in that area. best avoided if you can do so
Lord Bute
I usually walk in, but I'm heading off in my camper straight after lunch, so I want to park it somewhere I can shoot off straight away - any ideas? 20 mins walk or so is ok. Or what about it I get down the devonshire green car park really early?
Whatif wewin
Let us know where you will park it and for how long, O and by the way is there of much value inside? Seriously though, park in a safe suburb, and take the supertram. Don't say I told you this but some people (scoundrels ) park in Tescos then jump the tram outside Wyndsors world of shoes on Infirmary road. Don't tell anyone schhhh. Hook
If you've got GPS, add the postcode S10 2GA to it, let it direct you to Gell Street/Wilkinson Street, and there's usually plenty of parking around just on street. As long as your van isn't too big there should be a big enough space.
xbecx
Head for Cavendish Street which is just off West Street where the Wetherspoons pub and HSBC bank is. Drive down and on the right turn into the Church Army. Plenty of space early in the morning and the attendant will be there - £3 all day.
