mr chris
If you can push to £60, you could get an enermax liberty modular PSU. It's quite handy in that all the cables are separate, and you only attach what you need. I have the 620w version, and it's never let me down (where all my other PSUs have fried - literally!). If you go through ebuyer (link to product) and use google checkout, you might even be in budget! I'd recommend staying above 500w for PSUs - today's graphics cards need a lot of oomph, despite what the manufacturers claim, as do big fancy SLI mobos! (EDIT) Actually, I'm after a p180 - is it any good? Preacher Man
thanks but my case is different to others. i think it really needs a psu with a fan at the back instead of on top of the psu to keep it cool. Ghozer
I have a 600 Watt Xion PowerReal v2.0 - it has Dual 12Volt Rails, each with 22Amp aswell as SATA and SLI power connectors already on the PSU - it cost me £75 but thy are cheaper now.. however the fan is above the CPU - but why do you insist on a fan on the back?? the ones the CPU are much more efficient, and quieter, and will fit into that case fine... Preacher Man
check the link to my case and click on more pictures. my case has a bottom chamber which seperates the psu and hardrives from the rest of the components. if i use a psu with a fan on the back it pushes the air out the back which draws in through the front of the chamber which cools the hardrives.. pixellated
if you really must have a psu with a back fan (makes no difference tbh) , the hiper type-r is good or the cheaper type-m if you don't need modular cables Link to comment https://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/topic/83954-anyone-else-have-an-antec-p180-case/#findComment-1447361 Share on other sites

jezzyjj
I've shortlisted that case for my next PC. Clever design and supposedly quiet too. How do you find it noise wise? Cyclone
I have a P150, slightly different design, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the case. It's a toss up between the 150 and 180 for me... although white and silver (p150) isn't winning the aesthetics race....
