I am currently working as a bus driver in Sheffield.

BeckySWFC Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 The average is about 43 lessons I think... I had 33 but thats only because I failed my first test so had to have about 6 more lessons to fill in the gap before my second test which I passed on
Salster! Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 It took me just short of 60 hours and 5 tests with no private practice. As you can tell from the other posts it all depends on your own rate of learning, you may pick it up straight away or you may have issues with a couple of things, only time will tell. Good luck
babychickens Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 13 lessons of 1 hour each, passed test first time. small advantage of having learnt to handle a car on a disused airfield first though, reckon that probably helped. oh, and taking my test in apparently the easiest place in the country (metlon mowbray).
