How many hours of lessons did it take for you to pass your driving test?

took exactly 52 lessons, had first lesson on my 17th birthday and passed on my 18th birthday first time

well i had lots and lots then failed and lost my confidence id love to do it again but may be better with automatic.

Had about 50 lessons, with a few hours with my Dad.

The average is about 43 lessons I think... I had 33 but thats only because I failed my first test so had to have about 6 more lessons to fill in the gap before my second test which I passed on

It took me just short of 60 hours and 5 tests with no private practice.

 

As you can tell from the other posts it all depends on your own rate of learning, you may pick it up straight away or you may have issues with a couple of things, only time will tell.

15 lessons,passed first time

13 lessons of 1 hour each, passed test first time.

 

small advantage of having learnt to handle a car on a disused airfield first though, reckon that probably helped. oh, and taking my test in apparently the easiest place in the country (metlon mowbray).
