St. Johns (Park) CofE, NF&M School on Manor Oaks Road had:

Venus

Saturn

Mercury

Jupiter (?)

The last one I'm not sure on but I think the others are right - I was in Venus and the house points collector when we were in M4 was called Margaret Gregory. How's that for memory :hihi:

The houses were: Drake, Grenville, Raleigh & Hawkins.

I was in Drake house (the one with the empty trophy cabinet!)

Bazzo: I was a Jute at high Storrs in the 50s. In addition to the house names you mentioned there were the Goths, Trojans, Franks, and Spartans (I think).

I went to Notre Dame and we had Cavendish, Compiegne, Picardy and Blessed Julie (??!!), which was my house. My favourite color is blue, so I was happy I got to be in Blessed Julie. We also had to wear Panama hats in the summer with a colored ribbon in your house color.
