I didn't think Finnan played that badly. He was pushing up because Milan's left-back was having a shocker and was trying to capitalise on that.

 

Gary Neville does it and Ashley Cole does it all the time at left-back. You have to gamble in those positions.

 

Even Del Geary does it. Obviously to much lesser effect. :-)

Last time was not a fluke. Liverpool deserved it. What Kaka says is not the be all and end all.

Thats exactly what i meant!!!

He isn't a Ruud clone because he is much quicker!

 

As such he can play on the shoulder of the last defender high up the pitch and turn em, something Ruud could never do.

And KVH isnt exactly new to the scene, I had a good chat with a Dutchman about him last summer on the Ferry on to the way to Germany for the World Cup.

He was surprised he hadnt been selected by Van Basten.

You know, I am glad I support a crappy non league side.
