I think this is what must've tipped her over the edge.

She sussed it out, and the not going home bit may have just tipped her over the edge on top of all accumulated angst and resentments.

 

 

There's always a good reason behind a woman's action.

Maybe she sussed out that he didn't want to marry, and waned to break up too, and therefore she ended up doing this!

 

What I like to see is if he still takes her back after all of this, and can he laugh about it too?
