Why don't they admit armed forces if they just do the 999 lot ?

Do they only do the 999 lot? I don't think so. I could have had a card years ago when it was Marrons and I worked for a private company.

Do they admit the armed forces? I don't know, why not ask them?

I agree surely any cheap food should go to people who are struggling to survive.

I also shop at Factory Foods (M18 Jct2) and Approved Foods (online) both are open to everyone and I believe these are just as good as company shop and I will certainly carry on shopping there, particularly Factory foods (10 frozen items for £5 is a constant deal) and you can try before you buy there.

It's not quite as simple as just turning up with a wage slip.

You make an application online and they let you know if you're accepted. You can then go into store with proof of ID, proof of address and your most two recent wage slips to get your card.

So all those on good money can have a card but all those who NEED one can whistle what good principles they work on.The police dont need it or the NHS or the council or the fire brigade they are all on good wages why should they be priviledged.

Just for information - Council employees do not qualify for a card. I am a Council employee and when I rung up to ask about membership I was told that I could not have a card through the Council.

My Bold

The two outlets in bold above are both cheaper than the company shop and anybody can use them.
