Poppins: You just don't know how obtuse you sound. If you are good at prediction, than I think you should try the lottery.

Actually, I am not a Muslim, but I do find what that lady say quite offensive, and quite ignorant too. Do I not have a "right" to express this opinion? Even though, I like am in the UK, and I am entitled to my "freedom", and also my "human rights", to not feel oppressed in any shape, or form. I do not have to follow what she said.

I think she is ignorant in her history if she thinks that there are no fighting within religious groups in history. Nor should she think that the Jews have respect now is due to their religion. What happened during a world war may had been for many factors. For her to sweep it up and think that it is solely because of the religious believe is beyond me. What is quite apparent is that she is patriotic. However, I do find her words somewhat nonsensical.

Any particular reason for that conclusion? Or do her views just not coincide with your own?

where she said about the comparision to a modern day society to a society from the middle ages rang true to me in some ways. I have always wondered why the islamic culture hasn't evolved with this times as has most other religions. There are many things written which were done so due to the living conditions of the times - not necessarily due to religious beliefs

And arent Turkey fighting to stay in the present day? Certain factions there want a return to religion but a huge chunk of the populace there are fighting it because they say itll turn their clocks back to the middle ages.

Sorry, my last post "crossed" with yours above.

My interpretation was that she wanted Muslims to respect the religious beliefs of others and refrain from killing them because they are infidels. How can you find that offensive?

She most certainly did NOT say there was no fighting within religious groups in history, the point she was making about the Jews was that they managed to refrain from suicide bombings, etc.

"What happened during a world war may had been for many factors. For her to sweep it up and think that it is solely because of the religious believe is beyond me." So if the Nazis didnt kill 6 million Jews because of their religion, why did they kill them?

I'm afraid the only person using "nonsensical" words around here is you. Why am I not surprised?

You see, this is precisely why I find this whole "World Vs Muslim" thing really irate. Why are a big group of religious believers being marginalised? Why ? Please do tell me.

I may not be a Muslim, but I do understand that there is a cultural difference, and also respect of other people's beliefs. The lady in the video may think that she is being respectful, but listen to what she said. Especially when she is not listening to the words of (is it a Muslim 'priest'??), the other guy who said that he is not prepared to rebuke with her since she is not even talking sense. His words were that, she should not get involved in something that she has no understanding of. Yet, she is saying that "muslims" should allow others to follow their own religious beliefs. Which I thought exists now. So what exactly is she going on about??

If she is to be judged by her words and her beliefs, she has already sound oxymoronic without herself realising it.

Could you be a little more precise about what "this" is, please?

And, by the way, the "priest" does NOT say "he is not prepared to rebuke her since she is not even talking sense" What he actually said was:

"Are you a heretic? .... If you are a heretic there is no point in rebuking you .. since you have blasphemed against Islam, the Prophet and the Koran ..."

So he's not prepared to rebuke her simply because she's a heretic! Which implies that she is not worth bothering about. Which is precisely what she's "going on about" - the fact that some Muslims are NOT prepared to recognise anybody's else right to believe in something other than Islam.
