did you got to Foxhill Junior school

I lived on foxhill mid 60's...foxhill ave

I am 52 now...might have been in same year :)

Sadly, I'm older than you (56) so our paths may not have crossed. I did attend Foxhill Junior School though and then went on to Yewlands School.

oh you would have been there when it was the old pre-fabs before the new school opened in 1970

 

I left foxhill in 71 and went on to live in Chapeltown and went to Ecclesfield Comp

I used to live on fox hill avenue, had some good time there .Where abouts did you live,? I lived near the farm .

 

do you mean Shaw Hill farm, Ralf Walker had it he had a club foot

I've come across an old class picture at Foxhill Infants and Junior School but unfortunately I have yet to find a way to upload it onto here. DOH!

i remember grubbs .can,t remember names tho...
Yeah a big family ...there was at least 12 kids
To judge from the Births index, 16 Grubbs were born in Sheffield between 1935 and 1956, all with the mother's maiden name Reynolds: Gertrude, Benjamin, Bernard, Brenda, Betty, Bruce, George, Sydney, Brian, Jeffery, Blanche, Dorothy, Barbara, Gloria, David and Greta..:)

Hi Mervyn. Glad you remember me, the girl is Susan Turton we married in 1971 and are still married 43 years this Feb. three girls, six grandchildren and two great grand children.we still live in Deepcar Sheffield. so nice to hear from you. take care. Alan/ Susan
