vicki85   10 #13 Posted April 25, 2007 Has anyone noticed the difference in quality?   It's the same with Pizza Hut. They Abbeydale Road store never comes close to the quality of pizza sold at the Ecclesall Road takeaway.  Probably because the ones in the take away are made by kitchen staff, the ones on abbeydale road, by anyone that walks past, most often me (past tense, ***** that for a lark)
 Share this content via...
Guest   #14 Posted April 25, 2007 Actually had a reply from Dominos when I asked about it. It is because of the franchise thing, it's a pity really as I don't mind paying every couple of weeks for a nice pizza. KFC are franchised too but their prices seem to be the same everywhere I've been so I don't understand why Dominos should be different. Little_Alex   10 #20 Posted April 25, 2007 A whole £2.50 more at Woodseats Dominos than in Chesterfield for a small pizza! I just moved from Chesterfield to a flat in Sheffield and I have to pay more money...damn you Dominos!!! And they're crap I'd rather have a supermarket one
 Share this content via...
Baldyshef   10 #21 Posted April 25, 2007 It agree it seems stupid but the reason why has always been traffic. It simply increases delivery times too much to make it profitable.  Theres not much traffic in the evening say after 7.....Everyones gone home...  The only pizzas i can get here are from kebab shops :/
 Share this content via...
vicki85 Â Â 10 #22 Posted April 25, 2007 no, but there is still a one way system and no where to park. If you can't get from the store, there, parked, delivered and back within 16 minutes the 'computer says no!' Honest, thats the rules. Â Anyway, can you imagine fi they delivered only after a certain time, its bad enough convincing people you're closed. Â Pizza delivery companies are the sapwn of the devil, nuff said!
