Sweetcorn ... a bit disgusting but he needs to know!!

Recommended Posts

maybe he'll grow up to be the next jolly green giant?

Or 'Dr' Gillian Mckeith the second.....:gag: The woman's obsessed with poopy doops.

I also find that mushrooms have a similar effect on my digestive system, although the really bizarre thing is that they go in sliced but come out whole...

Maybe they are growing in there.

Dark warm and a load of excrement, just what mushrooms love.

You could start a cottage industry :hihi:

I don't know, you can buy maize flour, I can't see how you would make flour out of sweetcorn ?

Maize is not yellow either, I think it's brown.

You can also buy corn flour,

In spanish sweetcorn is maiz

so that's why i thought they were the same

Maize is sweetcorn.

But cornflour is made from wheat.

Do not mix this up with the cornflower, which grows among the wheat, or corn as we call it.

In America the cornflower cannot grow with the corn, or maize as we call it, as the corn grows too high. It grows with the wheat.

Edit I have just been told I am wrong again, Corn flour is made from Corn not wheat.

That is it is made from maize.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

Geeee thanks for all that!! We had already had the odd coloured wee from eating lots of beetroot but the sweetcorn really amused/freaked/intreigued(sp?) him!

I'll know where to come now next time he asks me an odd question, which believe me, is on a daily basis!

Cheers me dears!

Just about it being nearly more calories to digest than are actually in it.

A colleague of mine (who is very slim i might add) thinks therefore it is pointless and hard work.
