Just wait until your son eats asparagus, FairyNormal. You'll have to explain the whole stinky urine thing. I believe I've read that everyone excretes this asparagus chemical but not everyone can smell it! Strange.

Sweetcorn is not popular with the sewage industry either.

Is there a difference between corn and sweetcorn ? I've just never heard of corn being called that.

As far as I am aware no.

We tend to use sweetcorn more in the UK.

Especially if it refers to the processed frozen or tinned variety.

Corn on the cob we call corn on the cob, not sweetcorn on the cob.

I don't know, you can buy maize flour, I can't see how you would make flour out of sweetcorn ?

Maize is not yellow either, I think it's brown.

What you call corn we call sweetcorn, corn on the cob, or in its flour form mealie.

What you call wheat, we call corn.

As they say, the English and the Americans are one people, divided by a common language. :hihi:
