EdnaKrabappe
Annie I'm not your daddy by Kid Creole and the coconuts on picture disc with my own pocket money from Circles records in Rotherham. But I had been bought records - usually albums - beforehand and our local supermarket used to do a mean range of ex jukebox 45s which used to get flicked through on a regular basis. I remember buying Banana Republic by Boomtown Rats and playing it over and over again trying to learn the words. Once i bought the first one that was it. Think i bought a single every week until i was about 14 and i caught on that I'd be better off saving up for the album.
