Anyone had tooth implants? Can you recommend someone to treat me?

My Dentist told me I would have to be referred to a specialist to have it done .. it costs £3,000 per tooth.

A friend of ours had consultation for this while working in london, he got quoted £15000. Needless to say he hasn`t had them done yet

I need/want quite a lot of cosmetic dentistry which includes implants (if there is sufficient bone mass left to hold them). I see Mr Anderson at Anderson & Broadberry at Swallownest. He is brilliant. It's the best dentist i've ever been to - and i've been to a few!

 

He doesn't just look at 'quick fix' but what is the best long-term viable solution and works with you as to what outcome you want.

 

He spent a lot of time with me when I first went, going through a full assessment and drawing up a report of the different options for treatment.

 

He's friendly and approachable which is always a help. He's technically quite experienced too and he teaches/coaches dental students I think.

I go to PS Burns on Charles street in the City Centre. Not cheap !! but I have had £2k per implant quoted check them out !!!

Have you considered having them done abroad? My other half had his crowns done in Budapest and it was a third of the price of having them done over here (£1,100 as opposed to around £4,000 here). They do implants on a daily basis.

It is even cheaper in the Ukraine.I had 2 crowns Six false teeth on a chrome? palette & 4 new teeth on the bottom palette.£300-00.Can now bite through steel.
