Problem viewing flash animations

Dear all

 

Have installed some chemistry animation software I use at school on my laptop that uses IE7. When I select an animation to play IE launches and either nothing happens or the box comes up saying 'The web page you are viewing is trying to close this window'. If I hit yes IE closes leaving the softwares own flash viewer empty behind. If I hit no IE just stops. (hope this makes sense!)

 

I have upto date flash installed and figure it's probably security settings but not sure which...any ideas?

if you have FF (or a different browser) installed, when IE appears, hit no, copy the URL and paste it into FF and see what happens then.

 

although this isn't perhaps a solution, it may help to determine what the problem is.

 

incidentally, whats the software? could it be old and not entirely IE7-friendly? does it work with IE7 at school?

not that old and works fine in school but alas school doesn't us IE7!
