Any door security staff (bouncers) online that can give me any information as to what identification my daughter will need to enter night clubs, pubs, etc as she is now approching 19 and cannot get into anywhere, has already got a citizen card but has been refused entry again tonight.

The only one I think is absolutely guarenteed to be accepted everywhere is provisional driving licence.

 

Think some pubs accept various ID cards, bt as it seems to vary which ones they will actually take, I found driving licence the only one no one can turn down. Or passport, which is a bit of a pain to take on a night out.

They are supposed to accept any card with the PASS logo - i'd write to inform the club that refused her

From my son's experience, the Portman Group card is of very little use at some venues.

£25? I spent £5 for mine! And they can't be forged with the hologram - you also need a referee who gets personally called before the card is issued.

Provisional (or full) liscence is the best way.

If she is going to Gatecrasher then you can have any ID to prove that you are over 18 but if the bouncers, bouncer should i say (the p***k at the front of the que) doesn't like the look fo you then you won't get in, i had this problem last night and previous nights.

Yes, you're right nuttygirl, it was £5 ... sorry.

 

One of my colleagues stood referee for my son's card.

 

The blokes on the doors say they can be forged, and they are the ones who have the last say.

I bought a citizen card to use for when i go out and i have had the same problem. Many places said they only accept driving licences and passports. So i got in touch with citizen card via their website and told them and they asked for the address's of the places that would not accept it. So let them know and they will get in touch with them and sort it out.

get a driving license, at least they have another use rather than just proving your age.
