Houseshare message boards (in real life!)

Is there anywhere in Sheffield where there are actual physical messageboards with lots of rooms for rent on them?

 

I ask because I used to live in Cardiff, and there were a few cool places (indie cinemas, Art centres etc) where they had rooms for rent boards, and they always seemed like a good idea because you knew peeps who would advertise there are likely to be into similar things to you, and you'd have a good chance of getting on with them.

 

If I make a trip to Sheffield (from Devon) to look around some rooms, as well as checking online, are there any other places in the real world that might be worth checking?
