Broomhill does but they have this snooty message in the window saying something like "If you tax your car online you will risk the closure of this post office" Then there's always a massive queue!

I've noticed the sign on the Broomhill one too.

I'm awful because I always get mine online.

The one on Norfolk Row in the city centre does them too. Always a massive queue though.

Taxing a car online is remarkably easy considering it is a government service. If you have reg document and/or the reminder form and new style MOT they automatically check it is insured. I don't think you have ever been able to tax vehicles at every post office but there have always been some post offies that do it and I have not heard anything that suggests that will stop as not everyone has tinterweb and using post would be inadequate as it is too easy to make mistakes when applying for them.

Incidentally if you have a 4 x 4 it might be prudent to tax it today as greedy Gordon is predicted to hammer you tomorrow.

This is the link to govt tax disc site.
