Isnt it interesting on how many people comment on your size.

I went out Sat night for the first time in a while and people commented on how small my bump was for the amount of weeks i were.

Then i come to work and people say oooh ur gettin big now

I dont mind either way 2be honest.

Has anyone else had plenty of comments?

i had plenty of comments when i was pregnant, mostly because as the weather got hot and i got close to bursting i wasn't going to spend loads of money on new maternity wear, so was instead wearing hippy dresses that used to be loose but were far far too tight on a pregnant woman. people kept laughing at my bump because it really did look like a football jammed up my top. i used to get quite touchy about people saying how small it was - i had a pretty difficult pregnancy, and having people imply taht the baby hadn't grown properly despite my best effort was, to me, a little offensive. (1. myob. 2. that's pretty rude to pass judgement on my body. 3. it was a sensible size medically (i put on 28lb by the end), i just didn't binge when pregnant so put on a lot less weight than some people i knew, consequently my bump looked small by comparison)).

it was nice when friends commented on it ("you're b****y massive" etc), but i didn't like non-friends (or even complete strangers) thinking that it was ok to mention it. do i go up to strangers and comment on their fat legs or flat chest? no.

I had my daughter in 1984 but during the previous November/December my mum had to spend some time in Weston Park hospital and I used to visit her in my lunch hour. One day after I had been to see mum, one of the nurses said to mum looks like it won't be long before your daughter's baby arrives. The nurse was gobsmacked when my mum told her I had another 3 months to go! I was HUGE!!

I'm just over 19 weeks now and mine has grown dramatically in the last week or so but today I have had 'whoa your MASSIVE' and "o I didn't know you were pregnant'!

Great so either way I look fat lol! It never ceases to amaze me what people think they can get away with saying to you when your pregnant.

I went out on Sat night too - I did feel small. I was on a table of 7, which i only knew 3 people on. It was half way through the night when someone commenting on my baby and everyone was amazed i was even pregnant, neither mind 29 weeks pregnant!!

I want to get big so people can tell, but then i bet i want to be small as it will get in the way!

When I went to see my midwife at 28 weeks, I measured 34 weeks! And at 32 I measured 35weeks so seems to have slowed down but yeah people keep saying aren't you big! Which is nice!!!!
