Cheapest coach/rail travel?

I'm tentatively thinking of going to Bournemouth for a day(Fri 23rd-sat evening) and wondered what the cheapest coach/rail travel would be?

 

I've searched the travel sites, but you have to join many.

 

Preferably I'd like not to have to change coaches etc at all.

 

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Have a look on

Qjump for rail and NationalExpress or Megabus for coach. It depends where your going. Each do different deals. I don't know about Bournemouth though. I think you can check prices without logging on (but that isn't a long process anyway)

You can get direct trains to Bournmouth from Sheffield, it takes about 5 hours. If you get a coach I imagine youll have to change at Brum or London but dont quote me on that.

Megabus is indeed ultra cheap though.

For such a long journey, I'd opt for train as well, than coach.

Bournemouth from Sheffield should be part of the Virgin route. So do check out the offers that Virgin pushes out for their own routes too.

 

I would use Qjump to check for the ticket prices now to see what is on offer.

Mebabus is amazing, if you book online far ahead of your journey, its a little as £1.
