Running/Jogging - will it ever get any easier?

Over the past few months I've been increasing my activity levels... Every day I use my exercise bike and 4 or 5 times a week I do an exercise video in addition to this... However this evening I went for a run with my mate in the park and have come back absolutely flaming knackered! (I almost asked him to drive us home, I was soooo tired!)

 

I had thought that I'd gotten quite capable of exercise, from having been able to cycle longer without getting tired and recover quicker...

 

But it seems I was mistaken! My legs and bum are killing lol! Will I ever get any better or is running just not for me? I can cycle a good 25 miles in one sitting without feeling as worn out as I did today in the park lol

i can do 10 k on the rowing machine at the gym then 15k on the bike stright off but still be knackerd takin the dog for a 20min walk

I've had right arse-ache all day! It took me 40 minutes to get around Tesco for 2 bags of shopping cos I was walking funny lol!

 

No jog for me today, I just flaked out and had my hurty bits lovingly rubbed lol :D

 

Think I'll attempt it again next week... oh the shame!
