When I saw the movie that's the location that I first thought of - around leopald street/west street

I always thought that the posh house was at Sandygate?

Even the cafe scene is puzzling as a lot of folk have said pepe's to us but it looks nothing like - so the tip that it might be in Attercliffe could be interesting

Is the Posh House the one where Gerald lived. If so it was supposed to be in Whirlow. The Star did an issue with a route that gave tourists the high points of the film. Gather it was big with the Japanese.

Here are some pics of Leopold street a few years ago and the condom shop someone on here mentioned.

 

If you look at the education buildings (beautiful by the way) none of them have railings that are shaped like the picture from in the interview room. The eye level in the interview room is straight across at the green shop front. There are windows that are at that level but no railings. unless its camera trickery because the shape of the windows fit so it could just be that they have addes the railings in.

which jobcentre? on west street? i cant picture a garage I can think of the mini tesco thing. nxt to wok mainia chinese.

theres walkabout on the corner then there used to be a disabilty shop and then a garage near big double fronted one

How did you know about the cafe ?

 

(sounds good to me - a better suggestion than others we have had so far)

 

 

Not sure about 7 spices though - that's underground ?
