Victor Meldrew 33 #8477 Posted April 6, 2022 The most played album in my collection. As a 16-year-old back in 1977 a mate handed me a tape and said "you've just got to listen to this". I did and it changed my musical taste for ever. If you're tempted to look it up on Spotify, just go straight to the title track 'The Romantic Warrior'. Still thrills me to this day! Our lass doesn't like it as it's a song about a man taking a AI replica of his underage girlfriend into space with him, so playing it is a private pleasure. It was the first cover song my teenage band ever had fun with. The intro is 2 notes and a morse code sound and what sounds like someone's mum shouting, which is what happened when we played it.
