Craigy
Wow, this thread has been up almost a day and had no reply from Rich! In answer to your media centre question, you can fill it with your favourite videos or music, browse the net, listen to internet radio. You could also store your favourite games on the hard drive to speed up loading and prevent the need for loads of discs around your machine. I thought this could only be done with the original xbox? The 360 is a bit weak as a media center as far as i can tell
psyn
the 360 is the most fun online, have you used up your 1mth free gold service yet? there are some really good games on it, GoW, GRAW (2), splintercell, Oblivion, etc. but I thought its not as impressive as it could be I think in general everyone expects it to be mind boggling but its just the next step up and it leaves a sour taste that its not. If your not on live, get on it as thats the best aspect of the 360.
Nazo
Gears of War is coming out for PC, probably be better too. Online seems to be the Xbox's biggest strength but Sony have made some interesting announcements about their online service in the last few days. craigb
Take it into GAME or Gamestation and they'll take it off your hands, then use the money as a deposit for a PS3... can't go wrong
muddywolf
Ok I got an xbox 360 for crimble. I had a PS and PS2 and loved them to bits with classic games like the medal of honor and SSX series. In the end though I moved onto PC gaming and still reckon call of duty: united offensive is the daddy. The xbox 360 was a surprise present and a couple of colleagues swear blind by them. The problem is I've been distinctly underwhelmed by it. I don't see much difference in the graphics and the games just aren't grabbing me. I've got Fifa, Call Of Duty 3, Lost Planet and Project Gotham Racing. I'm seriously considering putting it on ebay, unless someone can point out a good reason to keep it? Your thoughts please. Its early days for the console yet, as the game producers get more experience of the hardware they can do better stuff (compair a 2 week old ps2 game to a recent one) So try not to think graphic its the best it can be. x111sam
xbox 360 is the most powerful console in the world, two people from Sony have already said that the XBOX 360 is still much better than the PS3, therefore, they were sacked. Also, once a game has been put into the PS3, the game cannot be put into any other PS3, it will not be read, whereas with the XBOX 360 it can be read once a game has been inserted into another XBOX 360. Also, Sony cannot compete with Microsoft as Microsoft is one of the wealthiest companies in the world so they can spend much more money on developing the XBOX 360 than Sony can with their PS3. If you are still in doubt, check out this website I have found: http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-348-1.htm
