Flippin'eck, Freckles was my handle back in the early 80's..

I had a Krako 40 channel on a snatch plate in a 1970 Ford Escort mk1

 

I recall being at Mablethorpe just listening to the banter when someone with yankie accent was chatting to a couple of giggly girls, he reckoned he was in the USA but the signal was so strong, it sounded like he was in the same car park as me!!

 

He made a slip of the tongue that gave him away as a Baaaaaaarnsley lad!!!!

 

 

I still have a couple of CBs somewhere, probably in the loft!

anyone into it in the early 80's if so what was your handle? i was known as crazy horse.

When I first got on in the early 80s my handle was FROG..

 

Then i got off for several years and then My new handle is dude (Ah man!!)
