EmmaF Â Â 10 #1 Posted February 28, 2007 I want to go for dinner somewhere different tomorrow night, preferably somewhere newish, and in city centre, broomhill, crookes or eccleshall, that isn't too expensive. No curries or chinese please! Anyone got any suggestions?
 Share this content via...
billsmother   10 #2 Posted February 28, 2007 Thyme at Broomhill is good (although oddly you have to go to the bar to order all your stuff The Ivory is good and also Boho ... but none of these are new are they? Sorry not more help!
 Share this content via...
EmmaF Â Â 10 #3 Posted February 28, 2007 Thanks - then ivory is lovely but is a wee bit pricey for not very much food, which is absolutely fine if you're in the mood. Thyme is also fantastic but we go there all the time. Have ended up booking the milestone on kelham island. Has anyone been? Randy Savage   10 #4 Posted February 28, 2007 Never been to the Milestone, sorry.  But you should try Zeugma on London Rd - only a short walk/cab from Ecc Rd  Fantastic food.  Make sure you book though... very busy!
 Share this content via...

billsmother   10 #11 Posted March 6, 2007 cos its a cafe innit  Well, yes, it is called Thyme Cafe - but how many cafes do you know that charge 12 quid for fish and chips??? So, I don't think it really is a cafe? It was called that to distinguish it from the (old) Thyme restaurant in Crosspool (now renamed Artisan/Catch). Anyway - the food is good - but I really think for the prices they charge they could come and ask you what you wanted?
 Share this content via...
