Taz78   10 #16 Posted August 22, 2004 Re: Jamies list of Some other cool things you can do with phones are:  Chat on MSN / ICQ. Send and recieve e-mails. Some great games for it. Calander and PIM functionality. Syncronize with your PC. Torch. Take photos. Record movies. Record sound (dictaphone). Guitar tuner. Make phone calls. Play MP3's / OGG's. Bluejacking. Download and play movies (can compress and fit a full length movie on to a 128MB memory stick).   I cant believe you can play oggs on mobiles....I spent HOURS trying to play the goshdarned blasted accursed things on my PC  Still, my attitude to mobiles is a tad different....all I really wanted was a portable phone..you know, like a communications device that was MOBILE, as I am also often mobile.  However, my recent attempt to 'give it a bit of a rinse' ...has not helped its functionality.  I can still TEXT, tho I have a theory that its more often 'anti' communication.....  Still, I can see who has called me and call them back on a 'landline' (which are pretty much everywhere in places with reception anyway...) so alls well  Ogg files eh? If i didnt keep breaking (no, this isnt the first time...) or having my phone stolen...that'd be a GREAT idea:cool:
 Share this content via...
tango1 Â Â 10 #17 Posted August 22, 2004 If anyone wants access to the web on the move, I have an iPAQ listed in the 'For Sale', which would allow access to t'internet though a Bluetooth/GPRS enabled phone (most of the latest models). Bookey   10 #20 Posted August 22, 2004 One word Blackberry hybrid device that beats all the others hands down. Testing some newer ones in beta that allow mp3s and video streams and more toys. (purely business testing of course)  Got a Nokia 6320 as well that ok because it fits in the car kit as blackberry dont have them. Could you give me some advice.  p.s When we were away the other week I used mine to get on to the forum from a hotel in the lakes. This set me of thinking where is the most unusual place the forum has been accessed from, by phone of course.
 Share this content via...
