There was a programme on the BBC recently about people doing this in the Peak District. It seems it is perfectly legal to do it on green ways that are officially roads even if they're little more than tracks. It understandebly annoyed the locals and walkers something rotten mind so best do it with consideration or somewhere more off the beaten track.

dont know mate but its called grasscroft woods on barlow lee lane, there is a charge but u would have to call grant on his number
