and as for the uv ink why dont u call in and we'd be happyto show you the paper work,

I need to do more homework?

From their own website.

"what's in the removal cream?

Water, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, n-propanol, TEA benzoic acid."

I don't mean to be getting at you, I hope your business does well. But I'm a bit worried that you don't realise what's in the stuff you're using.

The second biggest ingredient is Zinc.

"An amorphous white or yellowish powder, ZnO, used as a pigment, in compounding rubber, in the manufacture of plastics"

Felines is good, and Fiona does have a national reputation, but, that should not be the only criteria when choosing an artist. You want to find one who specialises in a style you like and does good work. So for example, I like tribal designs, and Fiona doesn't specialise in that way. She'll probably do it, but if you are going to Feline, don't just ask for Fiona because of her reputation go for one of the other artists, if your design is more up their street. Gavin seems to have the best tribal work there.

But, I'm sure there are other good artists in Sheffield. I was interested in the Ink Master because they have been going a long time and have a lot of good Tribal stuff in their online portfolio, plus, I live at Halfway, it would be a lot more convenient for me to go to Killamarsh than to go to Feline (tho I used to live out that way).

If you do go to Feline, and it's not Fiona, the other artists don't have that big reputation, so although they'll be bound to make sure they do a good job so they don't damage the studio and Fiona's reputation, they won't necessarily be doing a better job than one of the other good but not so famous studios in Sheffield.

I got my first Tattoo at Rambo's in Manchester, now he seems to have some reputation, and claims to have tattooed loads of famous Manchester footballers. But, I didn't get Rambo, I got his son. The tattoo is not good. I'd have been better off going somewhere else. It was a production line studio, doing flash on student after student.

My second Tattoo was at a studio in Watford. Don't know if they have a reputation or not. Entirely different atmosphere. I had to make an appointment to discuss the design, one to review it and two to get it done.

If you're just after a quick fashion tattoo, something you're going to pick off the wall, go anywhere, look at their work, look at the stuff they've actually done, check they don't have a bad reputation and go for it.

If you're looking for something custom, special or whatever, research the studios and find one that suits your style. Go for a specific artist and figure out whether or not you're going to get what you want from them.

With Inkredbile, I'm a bit concerned by the style and content of Scott's posts. He doesn't seem to know as much as Tina about the products his studio uses. But, then he's not a tattooist at his studio it seems, so his actual artists might be fine. But what if there is a problem?

It's your skin, it's pretty much permanent. You don't want to be taking risks or messing around with removal.

Dare I ask where this was done?

it's not me, I'd cut my arm off rather than have that. A mate of mine found it on the web.
