Farmboy   10 #4729 Posted July 29, 2015 Does anyone know of a good tattoo artist who specialises in coverups please? I have a bad tribal design on my shoulder that needs some work doing on it.  Hope someone can point me in the right direction please
 Share this content via...
Scozzie   10 #4730 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) Feline comes highly recommended for coverup. I have an appointment on the 17th for a coverup and can't wait - not at Feline - in another part of the country. Farmboy   10 #4731 Posted July 30, 2015 Thanks for the reply mate. I'm afraid it was an 'artist' at Feline that did my current tattoo that I want covering so I won't be going back there again. Thanks for the recommendation though.
 Share this content via...
wornout53 Â Â 10 #4732 Posted July 30, 2015 Dave Fox at Van Schaiks Firth Park is brilliant at cover ups. He is a great guy and a real artist.
 Share this content via...

Cuey   10 #4734 Posted July 31, 2015 I have a rough idea for a tattoo I want. Would it be normal to ask a tattoo artist to draw something up? I'm happy to pay for the time taken on the pre design work, I just want to be sure its right before I have it done. Its a mish-mash of styles so would need someone with a good artistic tendencies. It won't be huge.  I was thinking Van Schaicks in Hillsborough or Feline off eccy road. They both look professional but any thoughts would be good. Go and have a chat with him and I am sure he will be able to draw up whatever you want. He is a great guy and will be willing to put in the time and effort to get it exactly as you want it. DebbieP Â Â 10 #4737 Posted August 31, 2015 Can anyone recommend where I can get a Disney style tattoo? I'm looking at getting a tattoo of the rose from Beauty and the Beast or something similar from the film.
 Share this content via...
Scozzie   10 #4738 Posted September 9, 2015 Coverup question:  I had a full day session about 3 weeks ago to get a coverup done. I'm absolutely delighted with the design and the quality however, about a week ago, someone who was looking at it spotted it was a coverup. The old tattoo is showing through. I sent pictures tot he studio, but they said it looked fine and if I wanted the area blackened, I could have that done.  I don't want it blackened, but I want it to go away.  Do you think the studio would charge me more for getting more work done, or do you think that as I paid for a cover-up, it should be covered?  I don't want to ask the artist directly yet, because I don't want to fall out with him - I want more tattoos from him. rapido   10 #4739 Posted September 10, 2015 Do laser removals leave really bad scars ? I really want to get rid of one of mine (it is not very big) but am scared the scar will look worse than the tattoo itself !  It depends. There are different levels.according to the individual, size of tattoo etc. It can also take quite a lot of sessions to fully remove one. A friend of mine had it done and it didn't really work. I knoe you can buy make up that will cover tattoos
 Share this content via...
The captain   10 #4740 Posted September 24, 2015 Cover ups will always come show through. I had my arm lined with tribal years ago. Although I never had it filled in you can still see the lines through my full sleeve cover up
 Share this content via...
