The all things tattoo megathread

Recommended Posts

Do laser removals leave really bad scars ? I really want to get rid of one of mine (it is not very big) but am scared the scar will look worse than the tattoo itself !

the real beauty is not actually having some bit of of ink stained on your skin - but to be looking natural without one. A tiny tattoo strategically placed (on a woman) can be really sexy and tasteful - much like a belly ring. However nowt tasteful about a snake down the neck or tattoos down the arms.

best of luck with deciding about your tattoo - but make sure that you know of a good laser removals specialist - what the marks it will leave look like as well. Alternatively - go for a tattoo that will last only a few years

Your opinion of tasteful is not the same as the rest of the worlds. If the original poster wants to get a tattoo, good luck to them. Their body, their choice. As for the "go for a tattoo that will last only a few years" remark: sorry, but theres no such thing. Anyone who tells you they can do you a so called "7 year tattoo" is a liar. Youve got a choice of a stick-on transfer, or something thats going to be there for life. Dont belive me? Read this report on the subject. The Origianl poster asked where was a good place to get tattooed. Not if getting a tattoo was a good idea or not.

Anyway, back on topic, and Id reccomend Feline on Hickmott ROad, just off Ecclesall Road. Pics of my last session there can be seen here , friendly staff, excellent artists, very hygienic, and fish to look at. What more could you ask for?

As previously mentioned you need to get yourself to Feline. They are great there. I had a 1980's tattoo that I hated on the hip, went to see them and I now have an original tattoo covering the 1980's mistake. The staff are brillant!!
